Enjoying my day by Tally Adams

Tally had spent much of the first few weeks of school holed up in her dorm or spending her time in the classroom, now she was completely bored and tired of those darn walls. So, she decided to take her time during the Saturday and go back out to the paths. It seemed like forever ago since she last roam this wonder labyrinth. In fact, it had been a year if not more since she last stepped onto these paths thanks to the terrible weather they had the year before. And now that Tally realized how long it really had been, finding her way through the actual maze become much harder than she remembered.

Tally paused and sat down on a bench, curling her legs beneath her. Her long brown hair was pulled up into a high messy ponytail so that it wouldn't be blown into her face from the wind. She wore a long sleeved black shirt, ripped jeans, and worn out sneakers. She never understood why people felt the need to dress up on a regular basis. What was the point of it? Besides, a person couldn't fly in skirts or play sports in skirts or do anything fun in them. So, Tally kept to her old jeans and loose tops.

Her summer had been horrible. Chrissy had gone off to visit relatives in Virginia while Tally's father had forced her into therapy. A lot good it did her any. Control was what the man said, tell me how is what Tally wanted to scream at him. She couldn't control something she didn't understand. That was her theory anyway.

Tally sighed and rested her head on her knees. This wasn't the time to remember her summer, she wanted to get away from all that. It was why she was out here in the first place. Tally really wished Quidditch would start up so that she could keep herself preoccupied. She was so bored.\n\n
