Fortune was glad to be back at school again. Not that he didn't like home, home was great, but school was great as well. It was neat to be able to hop off the wagon and head straight to the common room, well after he'd found someone that knew the password. Which means he'd need Professor Carter-Xavier or one of the prefects, Stanley or Mab. He looked desperately for the Professor or Stanley, but found Mab. He thought she was kinda scary and thus was super polite and fast in getting the required information from her. Last year he'd heard a rumor that she'd attacked an Auror on school grounds once. Still, he'd gotten the password and was okay.
Once inside the Pecari sanctum, he headed up to his room. The wagon ride hadn't been long, but it was rougher riding that what he was used to. His trunk was already waiting for him thanks to the prairie elves, and he flopped back onto his bed and just soaked in the fact that he was back at school again. He wasn't sure what this year might bring, but with any luck it'd be fun.
The door opened and Fortune grinned. That was the other fun bit of getting back to school, he got to hang out with Xander some more. "Hi roomie!" he greeted the other boy. "How was your summer? Glad to be back? I gotta say, I like being able to just relax here a bit before the feast without all that orientation and tour stuff."
OOC: Mab giving out the password approved by her author.
From living, studying and Qudditching together Xander probably knows nearly all there is to know about Fortune. He's a middle-class pure-blood who's father is holds the exciting career of accountant. He loves adventure stories, isn't bad at academics, and can talk for great lengths about Quiddtich. He's generally friendly and outgoing, not terribly shy and occasionally a bit louder than he probably should be.
