Nothing to see here by A memory
This silvery wisp swirled around the room before taking form as the observer approached. As it did it took the form of a Mexican woman holding the hand of a young boy at her side. Her other hand was obviously being held by another, unseen person of roughly equal height. The woman was walking at a determined pace while glancing over he shoulder. The boy was working to keep up the pace while her other, seemingly empty, hand was being drawn forward as if whomever was holding it wished to be moving a bit faster.Her head swiveled back around to look at the empty place beside and slightly in front of her. She wore a satisfied smirk on her face. "I know, I know." She spoke in Spanish, "But my plan did work, now didn't it? They weren't looking for a married couple with a child, were they?" There was a pause and she rolled her eyes, "Yes, very clever you taking my name instead of the other way around." Another moment passed, her eyes narrowed just a bit and the rest of her expression darkened just a bit. "Grow up." She stated sharply, "What is the plan now? We should have some time before we need to worry." Her glare continued unwavering at the empty place for longer than most people may find comfortable. The expression on her face shifted into a thoughtful one. "That is a good plan, if it can be implemented. There would be many protections already in place." She gave a mischievous glance in the direction of the person she was addressing, "I didn't think you liked teaching though?"
The woman stopped walking and released the empty hand, gesturing it in a wave dismissing whatever comment had followed hers. Her expression became serious. "Hear me out though. If you get anyone involved in your... shenanigans again. You won't just have to deal with whatever the administration brings against you, or whatever attention it may draw," she tossed another glance over her shoulder before looking back at the empty place before her, "You will also have to answer to me. Got it?"
