Leonor was very pleased with herself because this was going swimmingly. She wasn't yet sure whether anyone would want to participate in her charity booth, but it was exciting to be able to say she was running a booth, and the fact that Mr. Alamilla was sponsoring her meant that she was getting to have someone interesting to talk to. He seemed a bit sketchy, but weren't all the best people a little sketchy?Today's meeting was the first, and the MARS room was reflecting Leonor's heritage pride for the occasion. Wanting to show people exactly what it looked like in the parts of Mexico she loved so much were impossible though, in part because there wasn't a lot that the water room could do for her. However, one of the services some tutors could offer was musical education, and Ciudad de Matteo's music hall made Leonor feel bittersweet as she stepped inside. She was proud and ashamed all at once, although she couldn't tell whether she was ashamed of the muggle connection to her family or the fact that she felt ashamed about it. There were layers and Leonor was not about to peel them apart.
Hoping for the best, Leonor took a seat cross-legged on the floor where the conductor would stand, facing the audience seats, and waited to see whether anyone would come.
