State of Affairs (and some welcomes) by Sadi
Hello, everyone.As you know, I will be stepping down as Headmistress this year. As Rowan Dakin is hoping to spend more time working with dragons again, she will not be taking my place as Head, but will instead give up Deputy duties, too, and remain as Head of Teppenpaw. So, taking the Deputy Headmistress position will be Erika Levy, and the Headmaster will be a new character called Evan Clayton (written by May Gail's author). Consequently, May will stay with us until midterm, when the IC Headship exchange will occur, and we're looking for a new groundskeeper.
We've also managed to secure a new transfiguration professor in record time, so I hope you'll all join me in welcoming Professor Lilac Crosby. If we could keep this one more than a year it would be just lovely.
I hope that wasn't too confusing for anyone. Schedules will be up soon, and the staff changeover will be introduced IC gradually, with Headmaster Clayton taking over officially from midterm.

Yep, feel free to use your sample lesson - just make sure it's taught to an appropriate level (i.e. it was too advanced for the younger years).
