Hey everyone, just a note to keep you all updated on what's going on.I have a feeling our potions mistress has left us already - I've had no response to any e-mails, and threads have been neglected. If you are around, Aylin, please let us know!
Professor Flatt might be mostly absent for a while as there has been a family death. I'm sure you all join me in sending our sympathies and support.
The bonfire is going ahead as planned; prefects will be allocated to their activity to organise by the end of today. Also, head boy and girl voting forms will be up this week.
As Geocities is ending its free webhosting, I am in the process of moving the geocities run pages to a private server, which should be up and running soon (we will still use web apps for the boards).
Finally, we could really do with starting to advertise the site now for the next term - I've already had several student applications, but only a small proportion are really what we're looking for (though at this stage I'm not in a position to be too picky). We also need several new staff members, so if you know anyone who might be interested, or if you spot a particularly good fanfiction, etc., you know where to direct them.
As always, thanks for working so hard on getting your classes up on time, etc. If you have any questions or comments, you know where to send them.

I've heard nothing from the potions prof - John, would you be able to get an advanced potions class up within the next week or two? I'm feeling the sixth and seventh years are lacking classes right now.
