So I've written up a schedule for this term. The last HoH speech should be up very soon, so it's time to start thinking about lessons. I haven't done a fancy, colour-coded schedule (though I will if it's desired). I've posted a list of dates below - each one is a Friday, so if classes can be up by that 'deadline' it will give the students a good chance to post over the weekend.
29th May – Potions Beginners, History Intermediate, DADA Advanced
12th June – Potions Intermediate, History Advanced, DADA Beginners
19th June – CoMC Intermediate, Charms Advanced, Transfiguration Beginners
26th June – First Quidditch Game, Potions Advanced, History Beginners, DADA Intermediate
3rd July – CoMC Advanced, Charms Beginners, Transfiguration Intermediate
10th July – Finish First Quidditch game, Wrap up/ catch up
Midterm starts on Friday 17th July
If anyone has any issues with these dates please let me know. Also remember that if you write your lessons in advance you won't have to rush them to meet the schedule. Thanks.
Do we have to wait until those dates to post them or can we post them before that?
I ask because Fridays are very busy for me and I doubt I'd have time to hop on the computer to post a lesson. I'm writing all my lessons today (my only free day) so that, if need be, I can forward them on to another staff to post for me, but if they can be posted ahead of time, it would save me the trouble.
I've suggested these dates as deadlines - so if it's easier for you to put up lessons earlier in the week then please feel free to do so. On the other hand, it's not the end of the world if you miss Friday and can't post until the weekend ... I'm trying to say that yes, you can post before the date in the scedule.
Games dates are fairly flexible, but if we can get one in each side of midterm that would be great.
I don't see why first years shouldn't have flying lessons - how else are they going to learn? So yep, if you could write a lesson for the first years, too, that would be wonderful. Thanks!
