Saul's grin widened and he even began to bounce on the balls of his feet. "Really?" he asked, equal parts surprised and excited by Morgaine's willingness not only to participate in the concert but take a lead role. "Awesome! Yeah, we can totally make you the heroine if that's what you want. D'you want to be the Auror who defeats the Dark Sorceress?"
Of course, he had a bit of a dearth of Dark Sorceress volunteers, but maybe he could convince Elly, or maybe Saul himself could be a Dark Sorcerer - villains were fun to play . . . "Or you could save the life of a princess, or I don't know, there's tons of possibilities. Any preferences on your role beyond being the heroine? Are you good at memorizing lines, or should I make it largely an action oriented part? Do you sing or dance? It's probably going to be a musical. Do you object categorically to a love interest, or could you work with that? Hang on," Saul pulled out his DADA notebook and flipped to the page where he had a tentative cast list for the group act.
"So far, we've got a bunch of extras, a princess, a portrait, you," Saul pulled out a pen and scratched out Morgaine's name and the word heroine onto the bottom of the list, "and me - I'll be whatever the story needs. So is there any heroic person or type of person you've always wanted to be, any heroic act you've always wanted to perform?"
