Today was the day of the Retreat. Last year had been just a tad bit of odd because Kiva hadn’t been able to travel with the students or other Staff members who had been so gracious to assist her, nor had she really been able to participate in any of the lessons that had happened. Of course, she wasn’t upset about it because it was all for a very very good and special reason, but it did feel very odd.
Kiva stood on the paths of the school where her class was usually held waiting for all of the fifth year students to arrive. There weren’t very many of them, so she didn’t have to wait long, but she was excited, so the wait felt much longer than it probably was.
She gave another head count and a roll call and discovered that all the students and arrived. Glancing around and noticing the Staff members were there as well, Kiva quickly took charge. "Alright, There will be no more than five students to a wagon with one staff member with them. There are four wagons and less than twenty of you, so that's plenty of room. It's going to be a couple of hours until we reach our destination. I want you all to be on your best behavior and listen to your Chaperone."
The students’ bags were being packed away by the Prairie elves, which Kiva was eternally grateful for. "Remember, this is a school trip so you are to be on your best behavior. Okay, grab your friends and get on a wagon."
OOC: This is just the beginning post. You do not need to respond to this if you don’t want to. The real lessons are at the Retreat
