Looks like I get to start the introduction thread! by Kate Bauer
Hey, all! I'm Kate - really Caitlin, but no one ever calls me that - and I'm going to be in Teppenpaw.About me...er, I was born in Arizona, which would have been great for coming to Sonora, except my parents got divorced when I was little and now I live mostly in California with my mom and her new husband. I have two sisters, one older and one younger, and a bunch of cousins, and one of each here at Sonora with me, except that they're both Crotali. I like bright colors, fast music, overalls, and animals, and a bunch of other stuff, most of which Momma doesn't think is 'ladylike.' I'm not too good at 'ladylike,' to tell you the truth.

Hi Kate (and everyone else), I'm Ryan and I'll be in Crotalus with your sister and cousin. I'm from Colorado. I have one younger sister and some cousins, only none of them are here yet as I'm the oldest of them all. The closest relatives I have at Sonora are some second cousins that I don't know very well and have only met a few times.I'm not at all ladylike either but as I'm a boy, I'm not really supposed to be. Nice to meet you, Kate.

Hello, Miss Bauer, Mr. O'Malley, and classmates to come. It's a great pleasure to meet you. I am Sara Raines, of the Illinois Raines family. I'm usually ladylike, and will be Sorted into Pecari, but I don't see why any of that means we can't all be friends.I have a third cousin, Raines Bradley (I hate that name, it sounds backwards), here in Crotalus, but I don't like him very much. I'd avoid him if I were you, Mr. O'Malley. I also have a brother, but he's far too little to come here and seems to only exist to annoy me. He's part of the reason why one of my favorite things is traveling. I've been to Spain, France, England, and Canada so far, and I'm determined that Aunt Margaret will take me with her to either Italy or somewhere in Scandinavia next year.
I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with you all!

Hi Miss Raines. I'll keep in mind what you said about your cousin. I have third cousins here too, Nina and Chelsea. Nina and my second cousin Tawny are in Pecari with you. Er, avoid Tawny. The one and only time I remember meeting her, we had quite a run-in. *shudders*I think my sister exists to make me miserable too. She does more than just annoys me. She's only seven though so fortunately she's not here yet.I don't get to travel but my dad does a lot and I spend lots of time with my grandparents.

Hey-o everyone! I'm Miya Saren, Crotalus first year. This is gonna be awesome!I was born and raised in California, so I'm not that far from home. Well, not that I would mind. Home is boring! I don't have any family (cousins) here, and I'm an only child.
I love adventure, and am always ready to go along with whatever one I may find. Hopefully one of you will go on one with me?

Hi, everybody! Gosh, most of you are so formal. "Miss this, Mr. That." Let's be relaxed; we're going to spend the next seven terms together!My name's Sophie Jamison, and I'm going to be Pecari. I am also from California, Miya! I may be an only child, but I'm not alone at home. My dad runs an adoption agency of muggle kids from our house! It used to be my mom's business with my dad being a lawyer/magical guy, but when my mom passed away, he became a lawyer/magical guy/super-dad!
Adventure's great, and exploring is fun, but I'm not sure how much of that I can really do. I have a supposed pureblood family to uphold! See, my mom was from one of those stuffy types, and my dad's more of a laid-back kind of pureblood. Supposedly, I have to "honor my mother's maiden name" or something. Oh well. What they don't know won't hurt them..
Whoa, a lot of exclaimation points. And so I say to you, fellow soon-to-be firsties, get ready for the term of your life!

I'm sorry for sounding formal, Sophia. It's just Miss Raines-er, Sara-referred to me as Mr. O'Malley, so I thought I'd be polite to her.I usually just prefer to be called Ryan, actually and am usually more relaxed.

I thank you very much for your politeness, Mr. - er, Ryan.If you're a Pecari, Sophia, then we're going to be roommates! I look forward to getting to know you better. My father's also a lawyer, though I'm fairly sure he has no connections to the Muggle world. My family generally tries to ignore that they were part of how Great-Uncle Miles made the famous ones, him and Charles and so on, rich. Grandfather is a Healer and stays away from that sort of thing.

I'm Marcus and I will be in the Pecari House come the new term. It's good to see quite a few first years all ready and excited to start!So...a little bit about myself... I'm from a small college town in Western NY. I don't have any magical relatives, so I'm called...what did that rep say? Oh, Muggleborn.
I don't have any siblings and it's just me and my Ma. She's a nurse and works real hard so that I can have what I want.
I really look forward to learning this magic stuff and discovering a whole new world. This will be awesome!
