As dessert faded away, Selina stood and made her way over to the Crotalus table. It was an advantage of administering the sorting potion that she got a clear look at each of the new faces that she would have to remember. She only had a small number this year, so it was easy to ascertain that she still had them all and no extras.“Everyone line up and follow me. May I have Chaslyn at the front, Isaac in the middle, and Eleanor at the back,” she instructed, making sure that her prefects were spread throughout the line to point out landmarks and round up any stragglers.
With that done, she led the way out of the Hall, and began making her way through the corridors towards Crotalus - a stop which would not have been included on Professor Pye’s tour, as the locations of the other houses’ Common Rooms were supposed to be kept secret. As they went, she pointed out the landmarks that would help them find their way down to breakfast, as well as other key turnings that they might need - though she suspected the former would be most important to them when they woke up in the morning.
OOC: It is not necessary to reply to this post, although you may if you wish to. This thread will be continued in the Crotalus Common Room, where you now have permission to post. You may also continue your threads at the feast, due to something we call “fuzzy-time” —this is where you are posting in two or more threads at the same time but they are taking place at different times from your character’s perspective, therefore s/he is not in two places at once.
