Headmistress Kijewski-Jareau

A notice regarding the concert popped up onto the bulletin board a couple of weeks into the new term. This notice was to advise how many Head Students and Prefects there were, who they were, and how many people were allowed to sign up with one particular Head or Prefect student. The limitations per Head or Prefect group was to make sure the teams were as equal as possible with the amount of students in the school and to allow for smaller working groups for the Heads and Prefects to maintain order.

The list of names, their position, and their house was all provided on the notice. Students would have a couple of weeks to sign up for their group and if by the end of the deadline, students were missing from the list, the Head staff would assign a group for them. Each group was allowed to perform anything that they wished as long as it did not go against school rules (meaning; there would be nothing explicit or offensive). Each student had to be a part of the performance in some way (this was a decision the lead of the group was to make).

The students would have the year to create a performance of their own choice that they would then perform on stage in front of the rest of the school, the staff, and any family members that decided to watch the concert. Students were allowed to seek assistance from professors if they wished, but were otherwise encouraged to work this out for themselves.

OOC: So, here is the deal, there are a total of 12 active Head/Prefects to run a concert group and approximately 82 other students. This means, about 7 people can sign up for each group (this number does not include the Prefect/Head). I will be listing out each Head/Prefect for you to sign up under. Please be aware of how many people are already signed up. There should ONLY be 7. If more than 7 have signed up under one Prefect/Head, I will remove the last person who signed up and place them under a different group. We are trying to be fair, so it’s first come, first serve.

In two weeks’ time, anyone who has not yet signed up for a group, I will put your name with whatever group needs a person. Prefects or Heads can respond under their name if they have an idea for their show and they are trying to obtain people. If you have any questions or concerns, please post them on the OOC or email them to the site address provided above.

You do not need to write a full post for this if you do not want to (although it's completely wonderful if you decide to). All I need is your name under the person who you wish to work with.

Sullivan was fairly indifferent to the idea of prefect led concert acts. He wasn't a prefect - Head Boy nomination or not, he doubted he had stood much a chance when the staff picked the Pecari prefect for his year - so it didn't impact him much. He'd figured he'd work backstage regardless of who was running the show. Heck, last time, he'd even been on stage as a zombie, so required participation didn't really bother him.

The biggest issue was picking which group to join. He wasn't really close friends to any of the prefects. He had worked with Brianna in class before, though, so he briefly entertained the notion of joining her group until Linus did. He didn't dislike Linus or anything, but they were a dating pair and he didn't want Linus thinking he was trying to poach his girlfriend or anything.

So he waited a while longer until he saw Michael's name go up under Mellie's group. Mellie was a housemate and a yearmate, so he felt pretty comfortable with her just by frequent proximity. And Michael was one of his better acquaintances, if not an actual friend. Plus, to his knowledge, they weren't dating each other, so no third-wheel seventh year awkwardness there.

He put his name down before anyone else could to make him indecisive again.

Then it was done and he didn't need to worry about it anymore.
