The Medic of Sonora Academy was back in time to start his duties as the school. Everything about the youngish man was the same except the marriage band that now adorned his left hand. Dylan had gotten married during the summer to his beautiful and amazing girlfriend, Cassie. Well, she was now his wife. Mrs. Bailey – he still giggled at the thought!—had arranged the most beautiful wedding he had ever been part of, but he was probably biased since the second he laid eyes on her walking down the aisle was a moment forever etched in his mind. She was glowing, and Dylan felt like her shine reflected on him. It had been the most stressful day of his life, but the happiest. The little annoyances of wedding preparations had been long forgotten when he had seen Cassie in her beautiful white gown walking down to him. He didn’t even remember and was proud of the party she had planned for them to celebrate their love.
Dylan waved and smiled at his colleagues and took a seat in the staff table and listened as the boss took the stage for the yearly announcements. The brown haired medic had been completely cut off anything school related due to the wedding and the honeymoon, so everything the Headmistress said was a surprise to him. He was certainly going to miss her once she left. Headmistress K was awesome and very relatable. Plus, the name of the new would-be Headmaster made Dylan wrinkled his nose in distaste. Purebloods weren’t really the best people to work with. They had old fashioned retrograde ideas of the world around them. However, he needed to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he wasn’t as bad as his contemporaries, but Dylan was sure things were going to change drastically. His smile wavered for bit at the thought of that. He looked around the faces of the other staff members trying to gauge their reactions to this. They would have to work together if the worst came to happen.
His musing on the new Headmaster continued throughout the feast. Dylan couldn’t get rid of the sensation that this Brockert person was bad news to everyone, though if he thought about it, Seth hadn’t been bad, but he was like a one in a million exception to the Pureblood rule. His bleak divinations of the future were shoved to the back of his head when it was time for him to get the Tepps to their new home.
Dylan got up and walked with a big smile towards the Teppenpaw table, “Welcome! New Tepps please come with me,” he waited until the new fisties were all around him before starting his walk towards the Teppenpaw commons.
OOC: welcome to Sonora! Postin rules apply. This thread continues in the Tepp commons!
