Teppenpaws this way!! by Professor Rowan Dakin

Rowan had enjoyed her time off during the summer; she had spent the whole time working at a newly opened Dragon Sanctuary. The owner was her good friend Sam Pepper, they had both gone though Dragon school together. Now with school starting back up she was a bit sadden by the thought of not being around the magnificent animals that Dragons were. She shook her head pushing the thoughts out of her mind as the first years began to enter Cascade Hall

As Deputy Head her one important job during the feast was to hand out the sorting potions. She smiled at the young first years hoping that at least one face looked friendly to them. Once that was done she went and sat with the rest of the staff to enjoy the feast. Of course her mind would not settle down at all. First their Headmistress did not look good at all, and the second was how she already missed Jenna Pepper’s home cooking. The elves did great here but it was never the types of food the young Professor enjoyed.

Once the feast was over she stopped up dusted off her forest green robes and charmed her voice to be heard all over the Hall. “Teppenpaws this way!” She gave them time and once it seemed like no others would be joining them she beamed at them and un-charmed her voice. “Hello new Teppenpaws, welcome to Sonora!”

She paused. “I’m your head of house and care of magical creatures professor, Rowan Dakin. I’m also the Deputy Head of Sonora but please do not allow all of my titles scare you. If you ever need me feel free to come see me at any time my door is always opened. Now who’s ready to see their home for the next seven years?” With that she turned on her heel and began to head towards the west bell tower.
