The Aronos: Volume 1, Issue 1 by A Stack of Papers

The bundled arrived without fanfare. A slight poof, a few air wiggles, and then there stood a knee-high stack of papers, their titles emblazoned with 'The Aronos'. The first issue of the fledgling paper had a year of effort behind it: hours of planning and editing, researching and, in some cases, spying. At last, though, it had arrived.

Curb thy tongue, self! by Saul Pierce

When Saul first spotted the stack of papers, he grabbed one eagerly and did something he rarely did - he read something voluntarily. He skipped right to the article about the ball and fair, remembering clearly that he'd been interviewed for that one, but remember less clearly exactly what it was he'd said.

His cheeks turned brightly, flamingly, alarmingly red as he got to the part that reminded him exactly in word-for-word quotation just what it was that he had blurted in what was clearly a moment of complete insanity and utter disregard for that fact that Professor O'Leary and Briony and Pepper would probably be reading what he'd said.

His crush on both girls was no secret to anybody who knew him, of course, but he tried to downplay the one he had on the other when he was around one of them. Especially since he was maybe sort of kind of angling to be Briony's actual boyfriend.

Getting quoted in the paper saying he wanted to kiss Pepper was probably not the best way to go about achieving that goal.

And Professor O'Leary wasn't going to be impressed by his printed designs of kissing Briony.

And the worst thing was . . . he thought he'd censored himself for the printed word so well, too.

He had to wonder: What exactly spurted out of mouth on the average day when he wasn't watching his words?\r\n\r\n
