Aladrens to me! by Professor Kijewski
Kiva sat quietly through the Opening Feast. This year was going to be a difficult year for her mainly due to her decision she had made over the summer holidays. A decision she would have to discuss with the Headmaster to let him know what her plans were and to make sure that she was allowed to do so while working at Sonora. It had been a long and difficult process that had her talking to endless Healers and Muggle Doctors, but... with the help from her mother, Kiva had really believed that this was what she really wanted.Glancing at the time, Kiva realized that it was starting to grow late. Standing up, Kiva made her way around the staff table and gently placed her wand to her throat. "Aladrens to me, please!" She spoke calmly, allowing the spell to raise her voice above the noise of the students. This was the part that she didn't really like the most with being a Head of House. The speech she could handle, helping out students she could do, but walking them through long corridors, backtracking through the halls, walking in endless circles all the while having this new First Years staring at her back, welll, it wasn't something Kiva was all that happy about doing. She was almost considering having Zack take them himself.
Once the students had crowded around her, looking far smaller than she remembered eleven year olds being, Kiva spoke again, this time without the use of her wand. "Hello and welcome to Sonora. I'm your Head of House, Professor Kijewski. Follow me, I'll be taking you to your commons now."
