Intro by Mahalia
Mahalia's hands shook as she walked through the entrance of Cascade Hall. This wasn't only from the sheer nervousness that was running through her veins, but the ride via flying Conestoga Wagon was not one that was to envied. Her head hung as she looked forward through the hall. It was crowded, VERY crowded, and though the room was massive, Hali had begun to feel a little claustrophobic.Hali firmly clutched the edge of her robe and hoped that the sorting she had heard about from her parents would be done soon. Her father, formerly of Aladren, proudly recollected his sorting to her, and frankly it seemed a bit anti-climactic to Hali. Drinking from a glass, changing a color, nothing like the fierce battles Mahalia had imagined!
She look ahead and saw a table in the center of the room, it was labeled first years. An audible sigh of relief passed through Hali's lips, followed by her taking a seat at the table. A goblet of what appeared to be water showed up in front of Mahalia, and when commissioned by the Headmistress she swung back her head and downed it. Moments later her stomach started to rumble and her skin turned from a sickish yellow, to brilliant sunflower. A smiles spread across her face as she realized that she was in Teppenpaw, the same as her mother was.
Headmistress Marnett gave a short speech and food soon filled the plates. The perfect addition to the evening! Hali gorged on sweets and pies hoping that she would soon be told to go to her Common Room, wanting to meet her bunkmates. \n\n
