Any ONe?? by Delany
Delany looked around the common room. There was a group of girls on one side and sitting in front of the fire place were a couple of boys. Delany took a deep breath and stuffed her papers into her bag.Come on Delany! It's only other students. Just try to get to know someone.
Delany looked around one more time before gathering whatever courage she could get. She looked over at the girls on the far side of the room. There were so many. Maybe she should start with a smaller group. She turned towards the boys at the fireplace and walked over.
"Hi. I'm Delany. Could I sit with you?" she asked.
