Long day by Zoey
Zoey sighed as she made her way across the common room and deposited herself in a cushy chair by the fireplace. Today had been an odd sort of day. She threw her hair up into a ponytail at the nape of her neck and took out her schoolbooks.At breakfast she had gotten to know Layla better and had met Tally. Chrissy, a good friend of Tally's, had come to eat with them, shortly followed by a girl named Jenna. Tally had explained what happened the night of the welcome feast about some girl named Mia who had been painted by a guy named Kade. There was a girl named PR (whatever kind of name that was) involved too. Then Sally came and some pranking ideas ensued, though Zoey did not join in on that as she didn't know what was going on.
Zoey felt bad for Tally cause she didn't seem to be having a good week. First by getting involved in the prank war and being placed in the middle, then by constantly getting lost within the school. Zoey was glad for her good sense of direction.
Surprisingly, the classes weren't all that bad. She had learned how to fly, much against her will, but she had done it and had eventually learned to enjoy it, then she mixed a potion, and even though it might not have been perfect, it had still been fun and she had met Leann. She had learned the knockback jinx and aquor too. So far it hadn't been all that bad for her.
But now she sat at her table, watching the older students joke around or do their homework. The idea of her being magical was still new to her and the things she had learned and see still shocked her, but she was happy to be here. She finally found a place to fit in.
Zoey returned to her schoolbooks with a small smiled playing on her lips.\n\n

Leann walked over to an armchair and plopped down, letting her hair down. It felt good to relax after a long day.She saw Zoey sitting in an armchair near her, but she was to tired to say hi. She closed her eyes and tried to think of peaceful thoughts, but the common room was to loud.
She sighed. She couldn't work, or do anything for that matter, in the loud. Oh well.\n\n

Zoey, who had been absorbed in her work for some time now, finally put down her quill and looked up. She spotted Leann easily as she was only a chair away.Zoey stretched her body out, allowing her long legs to uncurl from beneath her chair and her long arms high above her head.
"Evening, Leann." Zoey said with a slight yawn. "You look exhausted. Maybe you should head up to the dorms for an early night?" Zoey suggested as she watched her friend.\n\n

Leann started at Zoeys voice. She had been off in lala land."THAT, would be a good idea." She said. She got up, grabbed her trunk, said a quick night to Zoey, and dragged her trunk upstairs, plopping down at a bed at the window, where her cat Nevaeh was sleeping.\n\n
