Try-outs had mostly been a matter of procedure; with only seven people having signed up for the team, all of them had been guaranteed a spot. The only person Oliver had disappointed was Theo, who had asked to be considered for Seeker, only to be put in as Beater again. It wasn't that he was a bad Seeker, just that Marissa had more experience, and where would they get another Beater from if Theo didn't do it? Chasers: Oliver Abbott, Charlotte Abbott, Samuel Bauer
Keeper: Lutece Anthony
Beaters: Dmitry Talsky, Theodore Manzana
The line-up didn't look too bad, either. Only one first and one second year, who had shown promising talent. Their Keeper was in fine shape, newbie Beater would scare people just by looking at them in Oliver's opinion, and he and Charlie had always worked together well as a team. All they had to hope was that Marissa kept her focus, and this year should be easy. If they lost their first game to Pecari, Oliver would have to do more than hang his head in shame. That would be a true embarrassment.
