Aria was rather glad by those who had voluntarily signed up for her concert group. Some of the names she had been rather surprised about (but no less happy). Actually, just about all of the names came as a surprise for her. Aria had simply believed that her group would have been formed as the leftovers. Of course, the logical side of her knew that Marcus and Lucille probably only signed up because Melanie did, but she would not let that cloud her feelings. Jade and Wendy, however, she knew they signed up because they wanted to. Both had several other options they could have gone with, but instead they went with her.
As the last three members of her group were all in Pecari, Aria had to use a school owl to send her letter and their Winter Solstice gifts to them. Wendy and Bella received the grass dolls as the other members of her group, but Jade received a horse ceramic. One of the many Aria had worked on over the summer.
The letter was short and to the point. She hoped it wouldn’t bother anyone too much.
Dear Jade/Wendy/Bella,
I hope that by now you are aware that the Concert Group list has been finalized and you are apart of the group that I am in charge of leading. Because this is a group effort, I do not like the idea of myself being the leader and hope that as a group we will be successful in coming together and creating something wonderful that we can all feel confident in and have contributed to.
Since Midterm is approaching, I thought we would take the break to re-evaluate our talents and skills before meeting to discuss what we should do. We will meet first thing after the holidays to go over any ideas that you can come up with that we can vote for. All ideas will be welcomed and as a group should be received openly.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday and I will see you in the New Year.
Sincerely, Aria
