An invitation (5th years, Saul, Irene, Brett, Raoul)
by Elly Eriksson
Even before she'd finished unpacking, Elly set out with her first task of the year: sending out some invitations she'd written at home, the day before her return back to Sonora. In the commons she'd charmed the ink so some sparkled and some changed colour, but the messages on each sheet were identical:
I'm sixteen this weekend and thought it would be great to have a party! I'd love for you to come along on Saturday, in the gardens. Meet me by the swing at midday. See you soon! Elly Eriksson xx.
Elly had invited all the Pecari fifth years, because she considered each of them to be a good friend. She'd invited Saul, Irene and Brett too, of course, and Raoul because Elly had spoken to him a couple of times at Quidditch practices, and had a strong suspision he might even make the starting team this year. She'd be happy to have him come along at get to know the rest of the team a bit better.
Once she's written names ontop of all the invites, Elly folded them into paper aeroplanes and charmed them each to find their intended recipient. She watched delighted as the planes soared off. She couldn't wait until the weekend.
