There were two new Quidditch Captains this year, which meant there were two new Assistant Captains. Three, technically, since Daniel was now added to the Aladren set because of Jera's grade skipping and imminent graduation. But Teppenpaw was one of the Houses that graduated a captain, promoted an assistant, and needed a new one through the normal course of team evolution.And so, shortly after the students were due to return from their first day of classes, a school owl was waiting for Lucie Dupree. The letter inside the envelope marked with her full name read:
Dear Captain Dupree,
Congratulations on your promotion to Captain! To assist you in running the team this year, and in preparation of continuing Teppenpaw's fine performance in the years to come, Tobar Brishen is being appointed as your assistant captain. Please let him know and teach him the ropes.
