Jake had just exited the boys dorm and into an empty common room. He stood perplexed for a moment. Where is everyone? He asked himself.
Jake ran a hand through his short black hair and his black eyes scanned the room for any signs of life. He was raised in a large family and so the quiet unsettled him.
Jake loved noise, he lived for chaos. He never needed to create it, his family had always done it for him. A californian that he was and raised in the worst part of LA, noise was all he knew. Without he felt almost empty.
Some wondered why a pureblood family would live in such a horrible place, but Jake had loved it. It gave them character. His dad had said that he would rather live in the slums and be a respectable person, than in a mansion without a heart. That was something Jake respected the most about his father.
Now Jake stood and wished for noise and chaos to break out in the common room, anything to just get this uneasy feeling away.\n\n
Jen rushed through the doors of the Teppenpaw Common Room, hoping it was a shortcut to get to DADA class, when she dropped her notebooks on the ground. She went to pick them up when she saw a wizard who was standing alone, gazing into space. "Hi, I'm Jen." she said. "You must be from Teppenpaw, I'm a Pecari..was just cutting through here to get to Defense against the dark arts class...have I seen you before?" asked Jen. \n\n
Jake turned to face the girl who had burst into the common room and then dumped her books all over the floor. He watched her with amusement for a moment.
She intrigued him, if only because she thought this was a short-cut to Defense Against the Dark Arts. Jake smiled slowly at the girl before him,
"Jake Santoro's the name and we have yet to lay eyes on one another until this very moment." He grinned cheekily at her, "Nice to meet you. Er-so, how'd you get in here if you don't have the password?"\n\n
"Well umm...don't tell anybody this but I've been late to almost all of my classes so far and well I over heard some teppenpaws reciting the pass, andd I couldn't resist...you won't tell anyone will you?" asked Jen, with a great big smile. "Maybe I'll see you at one of my classes..." said Jen. "I better get out of here fast, see ya." she winked at Jake and ran out of the Teppenpaw Common Room.\n\n
Jen, if you're going to come crashing illegally into commonrooms not your own, at least pay attention to how you get in... and keep to the one story, not changing it - as you have here. How did you both 'rush through the door hoping it was a shortcut' and 'overhear some Teppenpaw's reciting the pass'? Especially as there is no password.
Also, by jumping around and changing with every post you are not developing any continuity for your character, and thus are making it difficult for your character to develop realistically, and interact properly with other characters.
