Caedence ran a list of all the places that she could calm down. She didn't want to wait in the commons for two reasons. One was that Connell might, by some divine sixth sense, show up and lecture her on her anger management issues. Second, Elly could follow her down. While she felt sorry for Elly's itchy back, she helped her out and now was afraid of biteing her friend's head off. Not a good idea, since Elly proved last year that she could bite back. No..but where to hide? Not the Hall, too many people even this early. Not the gardens, for she wasn't sure she could go out there this late. Where then? Then it hit her like a ton of bricks... The Library!It wasn't too early, she had spent a good long while talking, and arguing, and it was bound to be near six. Carefully, so as not to disturb anyone asleep in the other Pecari dorms, she left her common room. All the while she was walking to the Library she fumed up a storm. That stupid Danae, who did she think she was? And that Tarwater girl, how dare she prank Elly like that? Who did she think she was?!
Finally she ploped onto a chair. Predictably there was no one in the library. She grabbed a book at random withing arm's reach. She growled in frustration as she read the title, 'You are not a bad magical person'. Like she needed a shrink book? She looked at the shelves and foun that she was in, what she liked to call, the feel good section. Just where she didn't want to plop down!
She was therefore glad to find, despite her origanal plan to keep away from humans, a shadow cover her table. She looked up to see a person attatched. "Up early.." she commented trying to make out the face in the semi-darknes. Just light enough to make out a few features, but not enough to see who it was. Well, she'd have to wait for them to talk then!\n\n

Hyana had woken up bright and early to go down to the library. She had fastened her long black hair into a bun on the top of her head, her blue hair clips holding loose strands in place. She was also wearing a violet t-shirt along with a long jean skirt under her robes. She felt great today. She picked up her school bag, said a little prayer to her father and sister, and left her commons.It felt so good to be surrounded by books. But she was there to find a certain one. It was a quidditch book. She went over to the section where it was held and searched the shelves. "Ah, there it is." She whispered when she spotted it. Techniques for a Good Keeper. She might be playing Keeper in the quidditch game, so hse might as well try to learn as much as she could about the position. She sat down at a nearby table and opened the book. She was in such a deep trance she didn't notice that someone had sat across from her. "Up early..." The person stated. Hyana sort of jumped.
"Caedence?" She asked, looking over her book. "Caedence, you scared me. I could say the same to you." She surprised herself. She hadn't stuttered. For some odd reason, she seemed much braver around Caedence. Maybe it was for fear of her life. She really had no clue. "What are you doing up so early, if you don't mind me asking?" She set her book down, title up, so she could focus on whatever Caedence was saying.\n\n

Caedence sighed when she recognized teh asian in front of her. Of course it would be someone who thought they was her friend. At least it was her pupil and not some dumb other firstie. She looked at the book that lay on the table where Hyana had left it. Keeper? Wasn't she going to be a chaser?"No reason. Elly just had someone put some form of itching powder in her bed and she woke me to ask if it was serious. Then..." she paused. Remember, you're here to cool down. Count to ten. Think happy (nonviolent) thoughts. Yes, smile. Good Caedence, "Then I decided to go somewhere quiet," it wasn't a lie. She was looking for a quiet spot.
"So, you wont be a chaser anymore?" she said motioning towards the book, "I was looking forward to training you. But now I can train you and hone my skills too!" she said brightening. Her eyes danced with the thought of a chalenge.

Hyana nodded as she listened to Caedence explain. Caedence seemed really in control of herself. "Poor Elly!" She exclaimed once she heard the news. "I wonder who could be so horrible to her...I heard she's really kind." Then Caedence pointed out her book."Oh, this? Well, Anne said that I might have to play Keeper in our quidditch match. I don't know if I'll be any good though..." She trailed off. This is no time to lose your self confidence! C'mon Hyana! She scolded herself. And, as if it was a message from above, she remembered the fliers.
"Caedence?" Hyana started slowly. "Ummm...could you do me a favor? It would really mean a lot to me. I don't think your the kind of person who would do favors on a regular basis, definatly for a little firstie like me...but...could you?" She held one of the fliers in her hands under the table. Would Caedence take the fliers?

"Yes Elly is nice!" Caedence interjected fiercely then listened as Hyana explained her quidditch situation. Oh, so Grail must've quit...or left. Come to think of it, she hadn't seen Grail in a long time. Maybe she left. Hmm...maybe Caedence would pay attention more in the future. Nah, not likely.Speaking of paying attention that little girl just half insulted her! "I am not not the type to not do favors..I mean I do favors! I am just not practiced at it. I'd do a favor for Elly any day. I woke up this night didn't I? And looked at her back? Because someone pranked her? But that isn't the point, what do you want?" She got a bit too snappish at the last sentance. Her eyes narrowed in a fierce glare. Temper! she reminded herself. She allowed her eyes to un-narrow but she kept a frown firm on her face.\n\n

Hyana flinched when Caedence seemed to snap. That really didn't come out the way I meant it... She thought, her new found confidence draining out of her. Of course Caedence would get mad. That was a really mean thing to say!"I'm sorry, I really am. That came out completly wrong!" She apologized. "What I meant was..." She explained, thining frantically. What were you thinking Hyana? You idiot! She heard her mother say. Shut up! Shut up! Hyana cried in her head. Then her excuse came to her. "What I meant was," She said a little shakily. That was the first time in a while her mother's voice came to her that strongly. "What I meant was, I didn't think you'd want to do me a favor...because we don't know each other that well. I'm sorry Caedence. I guess you wouldn't want to help me now, huh?"\n\n

Caedence sighed. Oh when would she stop being so gosh darned weak! So apologetic! So unsure of herself! Why could she just go nuts and scream 'I WASN'T INSULTING YOU'RE JUST A STUPID PARANOID GIRL!'? She sighed again."Lesson one, Hyana, lesson one. Don't stutter. Remember that? Well, lesson three, be confident in your speech and stick up for yourself. Dont ask, tell. Even when telling don't make it sound like a request unless you fully intend it to be. If it means alot to you, tell me. Don't ask.
"Now, as for my snappish words, I'm breaking my rule four; dont apologize. I am sorry. I am just a bit angry still. What is it?What do you want?" She repeated her earlier question softer, but she still frowned. Hey she was tired and annoyed. Well, a bit more than annoyed, but cooling off as she went. She raised one questioning eyebrow at her pupil.\n\n

Hyana sighed when Caedence started going over the lessons. She also rolled her eyes. She was just trying to give her the dang flyers! "I know, I know. I'll remember that next time." She replied, a little snappishly. She hadn't meant to snap. She was still tired and frusturated. Caedence seemed to have the same feeling and...actually apologized! Hyana made a mental note to write that down."Well, I know you don't like Josiah, but he's starting a Charms Club. He needs somebody to post in Pecari...and I kinda told him I'd take care of it. I've already posted one in Aladren, but nobody's signed up. I'm hoping we'd have better luck in Pecari, so could you please post these?" She slid them across the table to Caedence. "I don't wanna lose one of my friends. I really need your help. It'll help him keep his puffskein, Teppers!"\n\n

i'm scared by Caedence
Caedence opened her mouth to tell Hyana to never dare snap at her. Then she closed it again, realising that the girl was just heeding advice. She rubbed her temples as the girl explained the situation to her. So it was a scheme of that stupid first year boy? She was tempted to say no, but then she reconsidered. Maybe this would be something that Elly would like? She didn't know if her friend was good at Charms, but she seemed to like learning new stuff. Maybe she would like this club?She read the flier over briefly before slipping it into a pocket. She realised that she was still wearing her pijamas. Luckily her pijamas looked like day clothes (spaghetti strap yellow shirt and black baggy sweatpants). She patted the pants pocket to make sure it didn't slip out.
"Okay, I'll do it for you. And good luck in your match. Watch out for bludgers, cause the medic wont let you back in if you get a broken arm. That stupid idiot. You know I could have gotten along if he wasn't so worrysome! I could've kept playing!" She paused here, realising that she was going on a stupid and pointless rant. "Ahem, I'll just go put this up then. Bye Hyana," she said before getting up and leaving.\n\n
