Mia found a lot of neat little jinxes in the first volume but nothing that would really help them in this case. She put that book aside and picked up her second one. As she began to skim this book tooo, she used her finger as a plce holder and looked at her frineds.
"What do you guys think those two idiots are up to?" Mia asked to break the silence. Silence never sat well with Mia either. She looked at her friends inquiringly and waited for their thoughts on the matter.\n\n

Re: The enemies by Elizabeth with Mia, Sally, Tally
Elizabeth looked up suspiciously at Mia's question. There was something about the fact that there was no librarian and that they were all here by themselves unsettled her. She was sure that if they were ambushed right now, there'd be minimal hope. Well, they'd be fine, physically, but to be prank ambushed while researchign your own was unacceptable. With Javon and Brett, her two older prankster brothers, around, if you were smart, you weren't EVER caught like a sitting duck, waiting for someone to get you right when you weren't prepared. \n\n

Mia saw a large pink book in Elizabeth's arms. She saw the title and stifled her laughter. That was awfully convinient and thank goodness because Mia was hoping for a bit of luck like that to come her way. The evening started out just great and now it ends with her in the middle of a prank war and the first prank was on HER.
Mia honestly never expected to be pranked when she got here. Well, not on the very first night. Mia realized that it had never crossed her mind once that she'd be in this position she was in now.
Mia sort of felt responsible for her friends being in the middle of this little prank war. If she had just realized that and idiot like Kade would do something like that-
'No! Would you stop that already!' Mia scolded herself. Her friends were kind enough to help her and thank the lord they did because she probably wouldn't get very far had she been on her own. Mia looked at her friends as they searched through books in order to make this prank work. She smiled and felt very grateful to have wonderful friends like these.\n\n

Tally visivly jumped at the sound of Mia's voice. It had been so eerily quiet in there that her voice seemed to echo. She looked up from her book calle, 'Hexing the enemy', to which she had been absorbed in, though she didn't really find anything very useful.
She frowned in thought for a moment before replying.
"Probably the same thing we are." She paused and looked at them, "You know, contemplating what we are doing and such." She smiled over at Mia, "Not to worry, we'll find something that'll get them good." \n\n
Mia was about to give up with her book when her eyes locked on to something. A spell, and a useful spell at that. Mia grinned widely as she looked at the description of the spell.
"Hey guys," Mia said excitedly "I think I found something that could help!"
Mia began to recite the description of the spell she found.
Enscribing Spell: Incantation: "Enscribo" Description: This spell allows the caster to enscribe any words or symbols to an object. This could be used for labeling objects or just for a bit a fun. Wand Movement: Swish your wand and tap the object you wish to have an enscription upon. While doing the movement, say the incantation and the words/symbols you wish to enscribe. Example: If Mary wishes to label a book she owns, she can simply swish her wand, tap the book and say 'Enscribo Mary' and the book will have her name on the book. The enscription will come out as black.
Mia stopped reading. She now had a huge grin across her face. She was feeling really good that she found a helpful spell. Well, she thought it was helpful. Mia, being a muggleborn, wasn't quite sure how the spell would turn out but she hoped for the best. She imagined PR looking around her things to see everything labelled to Princess. Mia looked up to see how her friends felt about the spell.\n\n
Elizabeth's eyes flicked up and studied Mia's face as she read off the spell. A great wide grin found its way to Elizabeth's face as she stood up and looked over her friend's shoulder, reading the spell again.
"That's great! C'mon, let's practice on something... Ah here."
She picked up a pillow that sat on one of the high backed comfy chairs, and flipped out her wand. A 9", unicorn haired core, and yew wood exterior. She loved her wand, and as she said the spell, a feeling of power surged through her body. She looked at the pillow, which now had the word "Princess" embroidered across it's front. Elizabeth grinned sheepishly and flipped it over, placing it back where she had found it.
"Well, at least it works.."\n\n

Mia saw the newly labelled pillow and had to try this spell herself. Mia took out her wand and pointed it to her shoe. She swished her wand, tapped her shoe and said,
"Enscribo Mia." Mia chanted.
The spell hit her shoe and her name appeared in a delicate cursive writing. Mia grinned at her personalized shoe and put her wand back into her pocket. She smiled up at Elizabeth and looked back at her shoe.
Mia suddenly furrowed her eyebrows in thought. She was looking at her name and something just didn't look right to her about it.
"This could use some color." Mia decided "Maybe we could find a nice color changing spell as well. I want my name in red and maybe dear Princess would like a royal pink for her things." Mia said with a sly smile.\n\n
"I'm sure that they have something for pink in this stupid "Pink and Proud" book..."
She went over to the chair where the book sat, and flipped through the pages. How ridiculous, spells for Cosmopolitan girls... she thought slightly annoyed. What cosmopolitan girls would be smart enough to even set foot in a library or bookstore to pick this book up? Sighing, she found it and read it aloud:
"Spell: Color Changing Incantation: les couleurs pour changez sont (say color) Description and History: Changes colors of objects of any sort. Say the incantation and then the desired color. First developed in Paris during a war when Adele Avril, a fashion designer, couldn't buy green fabrics, which were donated to the war effort. She simply changed their colors, and when the war was over, she published the spell in one of her fashion guides. Thanks Cosmo-girl Adele!"
Elizabeth cracked up at the last line, "Thanks, Cosmo-girl? This is so great, I can't wait until I see Princess' face after all her stuff turns pink!" \n\n
Mia put a finger to her mouth as she thought some more. She seemed to do this a lot. The four girls in the library were sitting there looking up spells for their while Kade and PR could be up to who knows what. That unsettled Mia a bit.
'What could those two be doing?' Mia thought to herself. She really wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer to that question. They could be up to something really bad.
'I wouldn't put it past Kade to think of something really awful to do for a prank. Not with that egotistic attitude of his.' Mia told herself.
"You think maybe someone should go find those two and see what they're doing? It's just a thought." Mia asked the group. \n\n
Sally thought that was a brilliant idea. Except...
"Tally, would it be okay with you if we send you?" she asked. She didn't want to hurt Tally's feelings or anything, but... "They know that Liz, Mia and I are all against them, and wouldn't talk to us. Don't worry," she assured the other girl. "It's not anything against you, it's just you can do something the rest of us can't."\n\n
Mia had to admit that Sally had a point. She, Sal and Liz weren't exactly on great terms with Kade and PR. Tally on the other hand had befriended them before that stupid paintbomb exploded in Mia's pocket. Mia just hoped Tally didn;t take this idea in the wrong way. Like they were trying to get rid of her or something.
Mia sighed as she twirld her wavy hair with her dainty fingers. She continued fingering through one of the books she took. Some of these spells were really cool even if they didn't help with the current prank. She would definitely keep these spells and jinxes and hexes close in mind.\n\n
Tally, who's mind was turning to mush from looking over the books and finding nothing but uselessness and eyes had begun to feel heavy, looked up at Sally, who had asked her to find Kade and PR.
After a moments thought, she understood where the girls were coming from. Tally always made friends easily, and that was never a good thing. Mia had been kind to her and hadn't deserved the paint ball in her pocket. Tally, being bold as she was, immediately began convering with PR without much thought as to what kind of person she might have been.
She frowned thinking about it. But looked back at the girls infront of her.
"Sure, I'll find them and see what they're up to. If I run into any of the girls, do you mind if I clue them in?" Tally asked, hopeful. Although, if they didn't want anyon else to know, she'd understand. She would just have to find another way to explain to Chrissy why she had left her at the feast.\n\n
Mia thought about it for a second. She didn't see a problem with a few other kids knowing but only a few. If too many people get in on this the nKade and PR are sure to find out. Also, if the whole first year gets into this prank war than things could become disastorous.
"I suppose it's alright if you only tell a few people. Not too many though or this is going to become a school wide thing. I don't think a little prank war needs to involve everyone." Mia answered Tally after some thought.
"Thanks Tals." Mia said, giving her one of her smiles.
Mia continued back at the spell book. A bit of her long hair spilled over her shoulder as she looked down at the book and got in her eyes. Mia quickly brushed it away and continued her spell search.\n\n
"Thanks, Mia. I'll be back when I have some information." She stood, leaving the books she was reading incase anyone else wanted them, and walked out of the library, catching sight of a girl reading in the corner before she left.
Odd, she thought, I hadn't even seen her come in. She shrugged and continued on her way, hoping she could find Kade and PR, but not really knowing where to start.\n\n
Sally looked confused. "WHy would we mind?" she asked. "The last thing we want to do is cause problems between us and hte other girls, and we really do need all the help we can get. Plus, there's no law that says you can't hang out with other people, if you want to. And if you think someone would be interested, just let them know."\n\n
